Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. His acting career started with TV performances, such as Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. Evans was a household name as The Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans is also seen in films that are based off comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). He gained wider recognition for the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War as well as the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). In the course of his Marvel films, he grew to become one of the highest-paid actors in the world.
